Reservation

To reserve a car you can do the following:

Hire rates

The minimum rental period is 24 hours. We offer 2 hour grace period for returns. After 2 hours late, late-return fees apply: half of the daily rate will be charged for 3 to 12 hour late, a full daily rate will be charged for more than 12 hour late. Our prices are indicated in Arab Emirates Dirhams (AED) and are subject to change without a prior notice.

Rental Conditions

You can pay your rental in cash or by plastic card.
The daily rate includes a certain day mileage: 300 km per day for sports cars, 500 km per day for other cars. All kilometres over the limit are extra charged. Public liability insurance, property coverage, for theft of the car or damage to the car in case of a road accident which is no fault of the client, airport surcharge and all local tax are also included in the price.
The daily rate does not include traffic penalties, parking fees, fuel, oil, and lubricants costs, car delivery to another emirate, and the UAE road toll (Salik).
It is not allowed to drive a rental car outside the UAE. Violation of this requirement and an attempt to cross the border will lead to imposing a penalty and the car being subject to seizure.

Deposit

By our request at the start of your rental period bank blocks a sum of money on your plastic card to cover potential expenses (any costs resulting from the damage caused to the vehicle due to the hirer’s negligence, potential fines and penalties imposed during the hire, fuel, oil and lubricant expenses. The deposit amount varies depending on the car being rented and is due to be fully refunded in 29 days given that the car has been returned in the same condition that it was rented.

Age Restrictions

To hire a sports car the driver must be over 25 years old. In other cases, depending on the car class, the driver must be 23-24 years old. For more specific information, please contact our staff.

Documents Required

To hire a car you must have:
a valid driving license held by the hirer (*)
a valid credit card issued for the name of the hirer
a copy of the passport
(*)citizens of the UAE must present a valid UAE driving license;
citizens of other countries must produce a valid international driving license and a driving license issued by the country of citizenship.

Additional driver

Another person can be enrolled as an additional driver of a rental vehicle provided that his/her driving license and copy of the passport are produced.

Vehicle collection and return

You can collect and/or return the car at any place in Dubai convenient for you. The MYTH company does not charge extra for this service. Car delivery and return outside Dubai are extra charged.

Fuel, oil and lubricants

Every car is provided to our clients with a full fuel tank. If the car is returned with fuel missing, the client is charged for re-fuelling at 1.44 AED per litre.

Insurance

Insurance is included in the rental price. The standard cover includes vehicle own damage insurance and third party liability for property damage. Moreover, the driver and all passengers carry personal accident insurance.

Accidents

Firstly, make sure that no one has been hurt. If anyone has been injured, call 998 – the emergency number. Secondly, without any further delay call the police to report the accident. You must not move the vehicle until the necessary documents are completed by the authorities. In case you do not report the accident to the police, you are liable for any costs resulting from the damage caused to the vehicle.
